Starting at the center of the place setting, we have the charger plate, a large decorative plate that serves as a base for the other dishes.
To the right of the charger plate, we have a water goblet, which is typically the largest glass on the table.
To its right, we have the champagne flute, followed by the white wine glass. Next come the red wine glass, and the little sherry glass. Ending on the right side with a coffee cup and a demitasse spoon.
Continuing on to the cutlery, starting from the outside in, we have the salad knife and fork, followed by the soup spoon, fish knife and fork, and then the dinner knife and fork closest to the plate.
To the left of the plate, we have the bread plate with a butter knife placed across it.
On top of the plate, we have the dessert spoon and fork, with the spoon above the fork. The cheese knife is also displayed on top of the desert cutlery.
Keep in mind that table settings can vary based on the occasion and personal preferences!
